You have it completely BACKWARDS... framing it like a libertarian.

It is not "government imbedded in our lives" It is really the PEOPLE utilizing government to accomplish things that are not able to be accomplished for the vast number of people individually.

Desperation? Have you noticed we have a PANDEMIC to manage as well as an affected economy? America has been floundering since the 1980s attitude of "govt is the problem" mentality took over. We are LESS free than the scandinavian nations, have higher infant mortality than other advanced countries, lower life expectancy., an ever widening gap between the top wealthy and the rest of us, flat wages for forty years ..... all this from a mental mindset of "govt is the problem" It is not- it's SOME PEOPLE that are the problem
