You are a bit older than me- I remember wondering in 1973 if I was going to get drafted.. then the war ended officially two years later with the chaotic evacuation of the US Embassy in Saigon (and people think our exit from Afghanistan was the only chaotic exit?).

Then Carter ended the draft and I never had to register for Selective Service. Recall all the right wing idiots bleating "where's Obama's selective service record" He didn't have one just like me for the same reason
