While the US does have a long sordid history of meddling and destabilizing Latin American nations (the result of which is the migrant crisis at out southern border), to claim that the likely fraudulent election of Maduro is a loss for the US is ludicrous- it's a loss for the Venezualen people.
Approximately 50000 migrants from crisis-stricken Venezuela crossed the U.S.-Mexico border last September 2023 alone!
I agree some of the opposition to Maduro are neo-liberal business owners and such. But for such widespread opposition in the streets to be manufactured seems off to me. Maduro used arrests and harassment to try to put down any opposition and though the laws says polling places can be monitored, govt election officials refused to allow it in many locations. Finally the results don't match exit polling.
