We did. When we moved to the greater Grand Rapids area in 1991 from Muskegon we didn't know the area well and rented a house in Grandville. Then, during the election of 2012, in the 4th of July parade, people literally boo'd Democrats walking in the parade! That turned us completely against that community and we eventually moved into the City of Grand Rapids in a very mixed diverse largely liberal neighborhood
