Actually, Tim Walz started the meme [1] on a morning talks show. Parker Molloy has a great essay on why this is working on her Substack column [2]

By the way, I also played Dungeons and Dragons, was in Chess Club and band. And too BASIC computer programming in tenth grade LOL. (I didn't comic books however. I was already reading novels in fifth grade).
