The USA was not a party to Minsk-II

I don't disagree that the idiot neo-liberal chicago school may have contributed to the weakening of the Russian state- but other russians sure took advantage of it to become wealthy oligarchs- Blame goes to them as well

The Ukrainian signatory to that agreement was a pro-russian Leonid Kuchma- an ally to Victor Yanukovich who was also pro-russian

The agreement was effectively forced on the Ukrainian people because Putin had already started arming separatists in the east

This is another piece of pro-Russian, blame the west propaganda. As with other pro-russian pieces, it totally misses the agency of the Ukranian people in general. I had a supplier from the Czech Republic late on deliveries- he had lost half his workforce becaue these Ukranian workers voluntarily left safe Czech Rep and went back home to fight to keep their country from the Russians

Putin CHOSE to invade and brutally attack civilian targets.

Putin has changed a lot since 2001. He is following the dogma of Alexander Dugin calling for a resurrected imperial Russia. The war is all on him. None of the issues you cite are an excuse for a brutal invasion and annexation of land that does NOT belong to Russia
