The map on this wikipedia page which discusses the Brexit results tells the story! Scots and those in northern Ireland overwhelmingly voted to remain in the EU. It was primarly the anglo-saxons that wanted to exit.
Even n ow, the DUP in northern Ireland is working to abrogate the Easter Accords which had resulted in the termination of the IRA fight against the British.
Brexit will ultimately lead to both Scottish independence and Northern Ireland rejoining the Irish Republic at some point , in my opinion.
