The GOP is turning to authoritarianism and attempting in many places to enforce their minority rule!

Yes both Democrats and Republicans have gerrymandered for example.

But when a state's population enacted a non/bi-partisan districting commission to draw maps only the GOP sued to try to stop that. Democrats didn't try to stop these commissions enacted by the people in either Arizona or Michigan!

It is the GOP working hard to keep college students from voting.

it is the GOP working hard to enact unequal voting rules which penalize largely minority communities such as they have done for the Houston area.

It is GOP lead areas banning books.

Democratic led states are working to make voting easier for citizens, not harder.

The definition of fascism per MerriamWebster:

1) political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

2) a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

The GOP has migrated towards white supremacy and authoritarian approach to governance. They have reached a point where no election is legitimate unless they won it.

You can quibble all you want but the two parties are NOT the same and to try to say so is false equivalence.
