The GOP and McCarthy simply have NO interest in actually governing.

The GOP stopped having interest in governing when Obama was elected. Their only goal was to stymie anything that might look like a win for the opposition.

When Trump was President nearly all Democrats voted for the Cares Act in March 2020 by huge margins: It passed the House 419-6. Passed the Senate 96-0. They voted to help the American people!

But when a Democrat is in the White House the GOP tries to block any large funding bill designed to help citizens!
