That donation thing is bogus!

The media, including an article in the NYT, keeps saying the shooter "was registered to vote as a Republican, but federal campaign-finance records show he also donated $15 to a progressive cause in January 2021."

Where's the proof he donated to a progressive cause? I looked it up. There is a Thomas Crooks listed, but the city noted is Pittsburgh, not Bethel Park and the Schedule A form shows an address on Milford Drive in Pittsburg and that the individual is unemployed. Nowhere have I seen any reports the shooter lived anywhere else other than Bethel.

He also graduated from high school in 2022, yet the donation to Actblue was in January 2021. Did he make a short move to pittsburgh? And then go back to bethel, when he was a senior in high school?

What lazy investigative reporting.

I sent my investigative jounalism to the four Times writers in an email.

Jeesh!
