She's not a footnote to me- she's the epitome of the idiocy of the right in these times!

I am reminded of a quote from a Jack Reacher movie/book:

There are four types of people who join the military. For some, it's family trade. Others are patriots, eager to serve. Next you have those who just need a job. Than there's the kind who want the legal means of killing other people.

So just because AB joined the Navy does NOT automatically make her a patriot! She could have just needed a job. And this isn't Starship Troopers or the Roman Legion in which you only are a viable citizen because you are in the military. One need not be in the military to be a patriot. Thomas Jefferson never fought in war and one would certainly consider him a patriot.

AB lost her right to even be considered a patriot when she attacked the seat of democracy to stop the peaceful transfer of power from one president to another. Election deniers are not patriots. They STILL infect our body politic like herpes!
