Several people have chimed in and said "no the corporation won't wipe your phone" or spy on you etc. I have ZERO trust in corporations.

My current employer as of June 28 did provide a company cell phone but is now talking about using our personal phones and getting rid of the company phone- as someone said, they'd rather pay you $50 than pay for a complete phone service- completely about money and FOISTING the cost of phone on its workers and that is bull$#@! What's next ? Making me use my personal laptop?

I do far too much on my phone to load it with work items and apps. If they go this way I will NOT use my current phone I will get another work only cell with the cheapest plan possible A previous employer did the "$25 and use your phone" thing and it completely interfered with a normal life.
