Russian propaganda regarding nazis and the Azov battalion were so overblown but readily accepted by a lot of progressives here in the USA including my eldest son who is a university professor. The same with the argument that Ukrainians were oppressing Russian speakers in Donbass and the east!

Ditto too the foolish arguments that NATO expansion is the same as aggression- complete bullshit.

I am going to keep this article bookmarked for future such conversations with people who try to excuse Russian aggression under the guise of de-nazifying Ukraine!
