Right wingers have infected every platform. I've gotten to where I just block them. Even the professional network site LinkedIn got over-run with Russian bots and MAGA trolls.

Even on the cycling app Zwift last night some guy tried to bring up a criticism of the Superbowl halftime show- to which numerous other riders basically put down the political intrusion into our bicycling.

I am heavily involved in politics and political discussions but I do try to keep it off Instagram and Zwift.

I agree too- the anonymous nature of being able to post stuff allows the worst- I post under my own name.

Years ago on a forum for mountain biking in Michigan, some guy who was using a nom-de-plume made disparaging comments to and about me as well as another biker friend of mine. His comments revealed that he knew us in person which meant that he would see us at bike races or trail heads when riding and was all friendly to our faces but then would attack us online under a fake name.
