Here's the real error in his argument! when he says "Religious doctrine is not a scientific theory. It’s not something you “believe" he is inferring that one "believes' in science. That is categorically false. One either ACCEPTS the science or rejects it. Science is not a belief system.

I can agree that religion is a mode of being, a mode of apprehension, a mode of action.” and NOT a scientific theory. But it absolutely is a belief system.
