so -SO SICK AND TIRED" Yes I am- of some progressives narcissistic whining about "owing votes" or complaining about "vote blue no matter who"

Our system is one in which the two major parties contain coalitions within- (well used to be- the GOP doesn't function like that anymore).

Politics is about getting as much as we can from those coalitions- but , at least here in Michigan and locally in Kent County- that fails not because of mainstream Democrats- but because of the progressives here who bail out and stop participating everytime they don't get their way- or vote third party as some sort of protest as they did in Michigan in 2016. They do that so often that the rest of the party does NOT TRUST them.

Don't count on Trump getting beat by simply anyone. The current base of the GOP still supports him overwhelmingly. He's toxic to middle independents.
