quote: Russian Church

Here is a periodic reminder that the Russian Orthodox Church has nothing to do with religion or Christianity. It was founded in 1941 by Joseph Stalin as part of the state-run intelligence and propaganda agency. After two decades of persecuting religion and eliminating the authority, clergy, and infrastructure of the church, in 1941 turned to religion for propaganda purposes. The NKVD (later KGB, now FSB) was engaged in the selection of Church leadership from then on.

THAT is very interesting- China has been doing the same thing. But here in the west there was an uproar after Ukraine banned Russian Orthodox Churches - precisely because people don't know the history which you pointed out in the quote above!!
