One of my favorite romantic movies deals with this very issue.
"Something New" directed by Sanaa Hamri and starring Sanaa Lathan (one of my favorite actresses) and Simon Baker.
They meet on a blind date and later he asks "so you don't date white guys?" to which she replies "I prefer black men. It's not a prejudice it's a preference" - He responds "sure, it's your preference to be prejudiced"
