France eliminated slavery-then tried to ReInstate it in haiti- and then extracted MONEY from Hait from the mid 1800s all the way to almost 1960!

All colonization is due to the desire of the colonizer to EXTRACT- If France ran a deficit for its colonialism maybe it was less effective at the role than other western colonizer?
