More Russian propaganda!
Ukraine desiring of NATO membership is in no way a provocation to Russia. If they are talking about it now I guess it is because Ukraine has been provoked by an UNprovoked invasion.
Ukraine gave up its nukes after the dissolution of the USSR in exchange for territorial integrity which Russia nearly immediately reneged on with the occupation of Crimea
The bio lab assertions if also a lie perpetrated by Russian propaganda and you are its useful parrot[1]
Of course Ukraine would ask for training by Nato given that Russia was trying to destabilize the eastern part of Ukraine with "little green men" infiltrating Ukraine and using paramilitaries to try to annex those regions to Russia.
The Maidan wasn't a coup- Yanukovich was pro-russian. He also jailed his political opponent(s). He withdrew from an agreement to join the EU which most Ukrainians wanted sparking protests in which his security killed over 100 people. So it was not a coup-Under the 2004 Constitution, which parliament had voted to reinstate, the President's powers would transfer to the Chairman if the President should resign or be unable to fulfill his duties. the Rada voted 328–0 (about 73% of its 447 members) to remove Yanukovych from his post and to schedule an early presidential election for 25 May.[204][205][206] The resolution stated that Yanukovych had withdrawn from fulfilling his constitutional duties, "which threatens the governance of the state, the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine", and cited "circumstances of extreme urgency".[204] The resolution to remove Yanukovych was supported by all opposition parties: 86 deputies of Batkivshchyna (Fatherland Party), 41 deputies of the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform (UDAR), 36 deputies of Svoboda (Freedom Party), 30 deputies of the Communist Party, as well as 99 independents. Furthermore, 36 deputies of Yanukovych's Party of Regions voted for his removal. [2]
Wow- a 1953 document to support the "nazi" argument in 2022? What garbage - you are really reaching for it. While Ukraine, like most nations even the USA has rightwing fascist and neo-nazis- that overblown accusation is Russian propaganda. Trying to compare Ukraine to Hitler - Really? And the argument about the Azov battalion is irrelevant- they have been integrated into the main army and are not allowed to push fascist elements forward. Russia mostly dislikes them because they were originally the most effective fighting force pushing back on Russian secret military invasion of the east.
Ukraine only banned Russian media to stop Russian propaganda- we KNOW the russians perpetuate lies.
Then there's this" Ukraine's Russian speakers worry about being 'saved' by Putin---Kyiv driving instructor Andriy Atamanyuk does not want to be saved by Vladimir Putin despite the Kremlin chief's pledge to fight "discrimination" against Russian speakers in Ukraine. "Never," the 48-year-old Ukrainian said in Russian. "There is no-one to save here. There is no discrimination. It is utter nonsense."[3]
Ukraine cannot "invade" Donbass- that is part of UKRAINE! Get it? And if they do invade Crimea- well that is part of Ukraine too
Ukraine is arguably MORE democratic than Putin's Russia - so there's that
Corruption? the link you provide says Ukraine is 116 of 180, not 122 but that is clearly better than Russia's position of 137th. And in any event, Ukraine's desire to join the EU would force more democratic and transparency in order to be an accepted member.
The final ironic kicker from you is this: "even sovereign nations cannot do whatever they want. " EXACTLY- Russia doesn't get to do what it wants and invade neighbors- they did it in Georgia and in Ukraine.
