It is NOT a 'proxy' war!! I wish people would quit saying that.

A proxy war would be, for example, if Ukraine and Belarus were at war and we supplied Ukraine while Russia supplied Belarus.

It is NOT a proxy war if one of the principles, in this case Russia , is actually in the conflict
