I worked for a manufacturer three jobs ago. It was the worst place I had ever worked. The plant manager was an assho#@. When my direct manager quit and then his replacement quit after three weeks we now had to report to the plant manager who cared nothing about quality. An issue blew up with a customer and I cancelled at trip out of town to go into the plant to try to resolve it on a Saturday. I realized I wasn't going to be able to by Monday and texted him to tell him so- No support,just berated over text as to why I was failing.

Went home and cried. Then Monday morning went to HR and said "I'm done. I can't give you two days much less two weeks" Handed my laptop and badge in and left.
