I will agree with you that the HRC ground game was a serious contributor to her loss in 2016. Bill allegedly went to her campaign staff and said "we need to go to Michigan" and they said there was no need. The HRC campaign ground game was poorly coordinated. Like you going to Florida, I too was on the ground as a congressional candidate in Michigan and saw first hand the arrogance of the campaign and lack of coordination.

That said, don't underestimate the Russian misinformation campaign. Their goal was not only to MAYBE help Trump win, but also to sew a lack of confidence into our system of govt and elections- at which, with Trump's "deep state" whining, the Russians have been very successful.

Russian propaganda has percolated through numerous channels and successfully parroted by the right and the left. The "Nazis in Ukraine" was Russian propaganda and is parroted by both numbskulls like MTGreen but also progressive leftists in the USA, for example.

And Trump's appointment of Bill Barr as AG did a LOT to undermine the actual facts resulting from Mueller's investigations.

Finally , isn't "the Department of Justice to persecute everyone who attempts to run the government based on laws and legal procedures which get in his way" actually an element of fascism?
