I think you have a typo which I highligted- you said "jefferson helped [Maria Reynolds] in ore ways than one" I think you meant Hamilton
The scandal did ruin Hamilton's chances of ever becoming President unfortunately.

Interestingly Monroe opposed the ratification of the Constitution. In the first gerrymander by Patrick Henry in Virginia he pitted Monroe against Madison for that Congressional seat. Madison won but Monroe would go on to become the only president under the Constitution who opposed its ratification.
Burr and Jefferson both had huge flaws- Jefferson was a master manipulator and Burr simply had zero scruples other than being a devoted father.
