I never tried Epicure. I know a few people that order stuff from Blue Apron.
I always made my own pasta sauce for decades. A few years ago I started buying commercial marinara (Prego, Ragu), but after two or three meals using it with spaghetti, my wife asked me to go back to making it from scratch- tomato sauce and flavoring it myself.
I also make my own "Herbs de Provence" ( thyme, basil, rosemary, tarragon, savory, marjoram, oregano, and bay leaf)
