I met my wife at the retail store we both worked at in 1995. There were some relationship issues between us but we never let it interfere with work and I was there only part time anyway and looking for fulltime teaching jobs. We met in 1985, got married in 1987 and it's now going be 35 years of marriage in January 2022.

Obviously power dynamics need to be adhered to but back then the only other way to really meet people outside of work was the bar scene.
