I became a fan of Cabernet Franc though I like to have a bordeaux around as well as Cuvee. Merlot is okay but not my favorite. Syrahs are good.

I just bought a bottle of cab franc for $18 and it is pretty good. But the one that blew my mind for flavor was a 2017 vintage from Mondaluce Winery in Dahlonega Georgia. At that time the $50 I spent for that bottle was the most I have ever spent on a bottle of wine. Over the years I have spent more. There is a good Grand Cru I found which was running around $65 but I have seen the prices drop to around $45.

I did buy three bottles of wine from the Montaluce Winery when I visited there in 2022 each for $165. But I had had these before and loved the flavor.
