I agree with nearly all your points except: The lack of education among MAGA people

Some may lack "education" about the process they observed- this has already been proven with regards to numerous Republican election observers.

But MANY of them are indeed highly educated. What I find is that often very highly educated people set aside the critical thinking skills they usually do have when it takes a back seat to ideology or religion.

I once worked with a genius circuit board design engineer - who was a creationist and didn't accept the science of evolution. He would send me screeds culled from right wing sources about Obama and his lack of selective service registration- had he used actual critical thinking he would have found that Obama, like me, was in the "carter bubble " - Jimmy Carter suspended draft registrations when he became president and then Reagan reinstated them. So there are many men who came of age 18 between 1977 and 1981 who never registered for the draft.
