From Grand Rapids Michigan here. This is just a disturbing and sad story- but sadly not an unexpected incident- Trans-hate is the new "gay-hate"

I remember when the arguments for marriage equality were raging and anti-gay people would put forth the most ridiculous slippery slope arguments.

But a decade on and being gay has become more normalized, haters have to find the next "other" as you said Mr Finn- otherwise how else to amp up their base for political reasons?
