Disagree on term limits. That may have worked in the days of the Founding but term limits don't get us better legislators or legislation-

In states with bicamaral legislatures like Michigan, where I live, term limits were enacted 30 years ago. House Reps look to run for State Senate. Or-worse yet, because the elected officials will be looking to their next gig which makes them susceptible to lobbyists for jobs outside of the elected arena.

The real cure is not term limits, but rather, competitive districts so that legislators while in office don't necessarily feel safe in a safe red or safe blue district.
