Sure, Dems have some problems and don’t always get it right, but Lauren & I agree on policies: Medicare for All, easier voting, etc. We just disagree to an extent on tactics.

However, it is NOT hyperbole to say that the modern Republican has descended since 1964 to the present to a neo-fascist party which works overtime to suppress the vote, deregulate economic and environmental protections, undermine worker’s right to organize, oppose expanding health care access, undermine education funding while diverting tax dollars to Betsy Devos’ little Christian madrasses. Republicans have become masters of obstruction- A year before the election and McConnell denied Obama the presidential and constitutional RIGHT to nominate a SCOTUS justice. But he was blunt that if an opening came up right now 80-ish days to the elections he’d have a Trump appointee there ASAP.

Republicans don’t believe in democracy if it means they lose power.
