Boy you really are working overtime on this. I do not see the "disdain" from the Democratic Party you seem to perceive. In our area, nearly all facets of the party are working together hard on this election!
This election is not about policy. It's about humanity. We need to get Trumpublicans out of office, reclaim a more recent "normal" and then work on Biden etal toward better policy.
I would urge you to watch the Frontline Epidode I am linking here. Biden isn't perfect of course but his empathy is quite apparent. (Watch the episode and pay attention to the segment regarding the Asian police officer who was killed in the line of duty and Biden's interaction with his family). Biden's empathy will move the needle on Medicare for All, IMO.

Quote: "There’s no denying that after Bernie Sanders was poised to become the presumptive Democratic nominee"
I voted for Bernie too and also want single-payer Medicare-for-All. It is NOT true that Bernie was "poised to become the presumptive Democratic nominee." One need only look at the tally state by state to see that. He was running second- a close second to be sure. Once all the other centrist (for lack of a better word) candidates dropped out, their constituency naturally gravitated toward Biden.

Yes polls tend to show a growing and perhaps overwhelming support for MFA among Democrats. But it seems apparent to me that most Democrats and progressives believe the path to that is not the Green Party and absolutely not through Trumpublicans!
Quote: “I beat the socialist. That’s how I got elected. That’s how I got the nomination…”
First, most Americans are not "socialist" never mind that most, especially on the right don't understand what socialism is or understand the difference between "real and existing socialism" (as Zizek puts it) and Bernie's democratic socialism (which is really just a strong social safety system. Bernie isn't a socialist really and calling himself one confuses the issue. He'd have been better off just dropping the whole "socialist" moniker and just calling himself a progressive. Second, the rightwingers Trumpublicans are playing 1950's red-scare with the word and it is good strategic rebuttal by Biden to frame it the way his quote is. No REAL socialist is going to vote for Bernie or Biden IMO. (There actually is a Socialist Party but they didn't put up a candidate and instead are supporting the Green Party nominee).
