Biden signed executive order to pay $15 per hour to federal workers. It isn’t lackluster- it is stepping stone. Biden can’t legislate it. Congress does.

But I do agree we need more. I have advocated raising it to $15 BUT give authority to the Federal Reserve to raise it higher where needed. The cost of living is higher in San Francisco than Grand Rapids, for example.

We need to give Biden a chance even as we push for higher wages and other safety net items.

I would like to see a universal jobs guarantee and perhaps universal basic income, as well as single-player health care, tighter regulations on the finance industry & Wall St, among other items. But I never expected them from Biden or to be advocated by him. We will never move the window on these under a Republican (especially a Trump), but might under a Democrat
