As to polls, I finally cancelled my NYTimes subscription. I cannot find the link now but a week ago I saw an article which illustrated the polling errors especially by the Times/Sienna poll which oversamples Republican voters and undersamples other demographics thereby allowing the NYTimes to continue to report the horserace as close
