A poll as of last October indicated 70% of Ukrainians support the war. And as I have already noted, I know of numerous Ukrainians that went BACk to Ukraine to defend their country.[1]

Fact: Ukraine was given territorial integrity agreements in exchange for giving up nuclear wapons- these territorial agreements were broken BY Russia when it took Crimea. The agreements were broken by Russia when it instigated separatist movements in eastern Ukraine. PERIOD!

We can argue all day about which came first (the chicken or the egg) with regards to the Maidan movement, violence in eastern Ukraine or an "overthrow" (or not) of a Russian friendly Ukrainian president. Nations coming out of autocracy and moving toward a more democratic system can be messy.

But it is not Ukraine BOMBING civilian infrastructure. It is not Ukraine transporting kidnapped people back to Russia

Russia is building in Maripol- the city it BOMBED into submission- and in doing so is erasing Ukrainian identity from the city. Putin isn't rebuilding there out of any humanitarian attitude![2]

If Putin was really concerned about the INTERNAL workings of another nation (whether it was coup or whether there was definite internal strife in eastern Ukraine) an invasion such as he committed which is the largest land war since WW2 is NOT the means to help resolve it.

All your comments are simply apologia for Putin's blatant aggression against a sovereign neighboring nation.
