A couple thoughts- White racists cannot abide by black people becoming successful even when segregated- as evidenced by Tulsa and other less well known incidents,

I loved having Obama in office but I think a real break through will be when we have a black president who is actually a descendent of former slaves. Obama, while yes had to deal with discrimination as a black man in America, did not come from a family tree of former slaves. IMO we still have a barrier to break
